I thought I would make a quick post to share what I’ve been up to since my trip up to Seattle/Portland with Olivia a couple of weeks ago.

I am not taking any courses right now so I actually get to enjoy my summer this year. Last year was hectic as the Spring 2020 was hastily converted to online classes for me. Then I had to take two intense classes in order to meet the required classes to get accepted into the Social Work program at Utah State University. I think I had one or two very short weeks before the Fall 2020 semester started.

I am still working full time though but I try to flex my time as much as I can during the week. We aren’t doing much of a garden this year but Olivia has planted some tomatoes, peppers, and other veggies in our garden beds.

I have enjoyed taking some time to read in my free time and go on walks during my lunch breaks. Next week, I’ll be going down to Texas as my youngest sister is graduating high school. My two youngest brothers are coming with me to spend some time with Olivia and I in Utah. Hopefully, we can take them camping, hiking and sightseeing as much as we can while they are here.
