Well I fell way behind posting about our last leg of the trip. The plan had been to post at least one day behind. By the time we reached Portland we were so tired that we didn’t do much other than the few things we had on our list.

After spending the night at the Crystal Hotel we went down to Powell’s Books which is supposedly the worlds largest bookstore. It covers one city block. I could have spent all day there but we were hungry so had to leave after an hour or so of browsing. I bought one book which was the limit I set for myself.

After Powell’s we went to the Portland Saturday Market. I had some Nepali food while Olivia had Greek gyro minus the bread. There was a lot to see. After that we went down to our Airbnb which was a basement apartment that was bigger than we thought it would be. For dinner we went to Cartlandia and grabbed some Indian food and Salvadoran pupusas. After stopping at Trader Joe’s we headed back to our Airbnb.
