Portland Day 3

Sunday morning we stayed in a little bit and had some breakfast foods from Trader Joe’s.

Once we were ready to start the day we visited The Grotto, the National Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother. Olivia and I realized we visited this sacred site on Mother’s Day. It was a very peaceful and beautiful location just off of a residential area in Portland. We stayed in the lower level and walked the Stations of the cross.

After spending some time at the Grotto we headed out of Portland towards Multnomah Falls. There was a lot of people there as the falls are just off the highway so it is a convenient stop for people coming in and out of Portland. Olivia and I hiked as close as we could to the Falls.

After the falls we were feeling pretty tired but we still wanted to spend some time outside. We decided to drive over to the Portland Oregon LDS Temple and walk around the grounds.

We ended the night by getting some dinner from another food truck park called Rose City Food Park. There were only two trucks open but we got a sushi burrito and other things to share!
